After the 2022 experience, the city of Zurich decided to expand the pilot project for heat island containment at the hot Turbinenplatz in the Escher Wyss district.
In addition to the large suspended fog ring, we installed two smaller, lower rings with different dimensions and atomising angle and a playful fog line at ground level integrated in a massiv wood block.
The wooden structures were made by Berchtold Holzbau Wetzikon
The project was promoted by Grün Stadt Zürich.
